Fee Schedule & Payment Terms

Here are the details on fees and payment terms so we all know what to expect and what you are paying for. Everyone’s time has value, and mine is priced accordingly. This page covers what is included, what is not, and what happens if more time or documents are needed.

Payment & Fees

At The West Notary Co., fees are set according to Colorado law. Transparency matters — you will always receive an itemized invoice.

Booking Fee

  • $50 non-refundable booking fee — required to secure your appointment.

  • Applied toward your final invoice.

  • Payable at time of scheduling.

Mobile Notary Services

  • $15 per notarization (per seal) — maximum allowed under Colorado law.

  • Travel Fee — based on mileage and time to your location (quoted at booking).

  • After-Hours / Weekend Fee (optional) — added for appointments outside standard business hours.

Most mobile appointments with travel average $50–$100 total (plus booking fee). time of scheduling.

Remote Online Notarization (RON)

  • $25 per notarization (per seal) — maximum allowed under Colorado law.

  • $25 Technology Fee — secure Colorado-approved platform, identity verification, and 10-year compliant audio-video recording.

  • $25 Session/Admin Fee — scheduling, platform setup, and client tech support.

Most RON sessions with multiple notarizations total around $100–$125 (plus booking fee). All charges are itemized.

Important Notes

  • Colorado law sets maximum fees: $15 per in-person notarization and $25 per remote notarization (i.e., per seal).

  • Travel, technology, and administrative fees are separate from the notarial act itself and cover compliance, logistics, and platform costs.

  • A $50 non-refundable booking fee is due at scheduling. This amount is applied to your final invoice.

  • The remaining balance will be invoiced in advance and is due at the time of service, before notarization is completed and documents are released.

How You’ll Pay

To keep things secure and simple, The West Notary Co. uses two trusted platforms for all payments:

Booking Fee:

  • $50 booking fee paid via Calendly, processed through Stripe.

  • You will see “STRIPE” or “The West Notary Co.” on your statement.

Final Invoice:

This will be delivered via QuickBooks, payable by:

  • Credit or debit card

  • ACH bank transfer

  • Apple Pay or Google Pay
